Faith & Beauty the story…

Three months after having a baby and returning to work, Gemina was devastated to learn that the failing economy had directly affected her. She had been laid off from her full time job at Shu Uemura. As a single mother in complete panic, she questioned how she would support her then newborn baby. She turned to God in prayer and began to rely solely on her faith. After seeking discernment and guidance through prayer, it was clear to her that she was to pursue her dream. Peace suddenly over came her and she knew that God would provide if she put all her faith in him. By giving all glories to God and walking by FAITH, not by sight, Faith & Beauty was born.

Servicing all of Hawai'i with over 7 years of experience, Faith & Beauty is a Christian based business specializing in on-site hair styling and airbrush makeup.

I believe that God has given me the gift of artistry and I feel so blessed to be doing exactly what I love. One of my favorite things about being an artist is being able to see the confidence and impact that just a little makeup can bring to a woman from her outer appearance. I believe that itʼs only when a woman feels comfortable with herself, does she truly begin to shine from within.

I get my inspirations from my home in beautiful Hawaii. The richness of colors found in the natural scenery of the islands reminds me that everything was born with its own unique beauty. I relate that to my work by keeping each individual's appearance, and slightly enhancing key features so that she becomes the best version of herself.

I pride myself in continuously striving to provide the highest quality of services. It is important to me that my client feels comfortable working with me, especially in such close proximity. Being happy, comfortable and confident are three things that I promise every client when working with Faith & Beauty. Rest assured in knowing we will not leave until you're 100% satisfied with your look.
